Casa Romita
Overview
Casa Romita built in 1885, is a magnificent example of late nineteenth-century Italian architecture. The villa belonged to a noble family who also operated it as an olive oil mill. The presence of the two towers, St. Gregory and St. Andrew, the last of which adorned with a fine bronze bell, enhances the architectural charm of the villa evoking a nostalgic, timeless feeling. The villa has been beautifully restored to preserve the sense of authenticity that will capture the essence of this period living in the Italian country.
Casa Romita is located just north of Rome and close to the Umbrian border, in the picturesque hill country known as “Sabina”, famous for the exceptional DOC olive oil production. This centralized location makes it convenient for day visits to the most important sites in central Italy.
